These session are for young people who are in need of additional support and are confidential in a 1:1 setting. Welcoming those who may be finding their journey of gender identity challenging and require therapeutic consultations for a short or long term intervention. Commencement of these sessions will involve ‘mapping’ of their thoughts, emotions and behaviours and where in the body they are showing up for them. Drawing on theory and practice from different modalities that address the potential Schema/ACT Mind tricks at work. Exploring any maladaptive coping strategies and considering how to move forward from there.

Designed for parents and carers of LGBTIQA+ youth, who are supporting their young person, who may have already commenced or considering commencing gender transitioning and/or questioning their gender identity. This program intends to shine a light on the experience of raising young people who are gender diverse, transgender and gender non-conforming. Q-Rious Me Parent Support Group will arm parents/carers with knowledge, resources and give you the edge for this incredible role in their young person’s life. A fun and engaging interactive program to promote connection for any young person belonging to the LGBTIQA+ community. This will be inclusive and safe in a well supported environment with other peers and their facilitator Felicity. Clients will be encouraged to build new social networks with other young people who are experiencing a similar journey of transforming their identity - towards becoming authentic versions of themselves. This program is designed to be informal, relaxed and offers a non-judgemental space to be themselves comfortably without fear or judgement from peers. Each session will have experiential activities to enjoy.
